I still cannot believe that big aunt has left me forever. I would never be able to see her again.My dear aunt was the my only kith and kin whom I could depend on or whom I could run to whenever I was in trouble. She would always there for me and gave me both a mother's and an aunt's warmth.The thought of her makes me heartbroken.Why did such a very caring and kind aunt have to leave the world?How I wish I insisted on staying with her when I met her the last time.She meant everything to me!I miss her terribly but somewhere from my head is telling me that it is not the time to grieve . I know I have to think of a plan to save Ivano and that's what I am going to do right now. The horrifying scene of male, female and children bodies piled up with blood everywhere was totally disgusting. Why must the girl I want to be with, die in the hands of the Japanese while helping the American bombers. It’s so unfair. How could the Japanese take away so many innocent lives? I hate the Japanese for being so cruel! How am I supposed to explain it to CC? How will she react after knowing that her beloved aunt was dead? Will she hate me for life? It is all mine fault that CC's big aunt died. I should have figured that something terrible would happen and then quickly take precaution. Now it is all too late. Why? Why? Why? Love, Sarah C I miss Big Aunt so much.. I feel so lost, no one to confide in. I feel no one is there for me. This is all Niang's fault! I hate her! How can she do this to me and Big Aunt? Does she really hate us that much? I am really at a loss. I feel empty inside. I cannot even leave the house now, the are wanted signs of me everywhere, if I am seen, I will be sent back home. Grandma Wu and I have agreed to let them think I am dead. We shall fool them. After awhile, when they stop looking, I will be safe again. After the war is over, I will visit my father and surprise him. I believe, deep down in his heart, he does love me. After all I am his flesh and blood. I want to avenge my Aunt's murder, but for now I have to get a grip on myself and focus on Ivanov's rescue plan.
